The role

Own strategy and performance across client portfolios

As a Senior Revenue Manager at Pacer, you'll lead pricing strategy and performance for a portfolio of short-term rental properties. Serving as both analyst and advisor to our clients. This is a high-autonomy role where you'll configure revenue management systems, analyze market trends, and deliver data-driven insights that directly impact our clients' bottom line.

You won't be told what to do every day. You'll own outcomes, build trust-based partnerships with property operators, and push the boundaries of what's possible in STR revenue optimization.

What you'll own

Your responsibilities

Revenue strategy & execution

  • Develop and execute dynamic pricing strategies across diverse rental portfolios
  • Configure and optimize RMS tools (PriceLabs, Wheelhouse, Beyond, RevMax)
  • Analyze booking velocity, competitive pacing, and market trends
  • Refine pricing structures including minimum stays and fee optimization

Client strategy & leadership

  • Deliver monthly performance reviews with transparent, data-driven insights
  • Build trust-based partnerships through proactive communication
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on revenue decisions

Market intelligence

  • Monitor and interpret local market dynamics and seasonal patterns
  • Track competitor pricing and demand signals
  • Test strategies and adapt to shifting market conditions
  • Identify revenue opportunities across portfolios

Systems & growth

  • Work hands-on with PMS platforms (Guesty, Hostaway, Streamline, Track)
  • Collaborate with data and product teams on system improvements
  • Support onboarding of new client portfolios
  • Contribute to building scalable revenue processes

Required experience

What we're looking for

Must have

  • 3+ years revenue management experience in vacation rentals, STRs, or boutique hotels
  • Demonstrated data analysis and performance monitoring expertise
  • Advanced proficiency with RMS platforms (PriceLabs, Wheelhouse, Beyond, RevMax)
  • Hands-on PMS experience (Guesty, Hostaway, Streamline, Track)
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong relationship management and executive communication skills
  • High accountability and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, organized, independent worker

Nice to have

  • Experience managing large, diverse property portfolios
  • Familiarity with major OTAs (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com)
  • Fast-paced startup environment experience
  • Business intelligence tool proficiency (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Willingness to grow within the vacation rental industry

We're specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in the short-term rental or boutique hotel space. Not traditional large-chain hotel backgrounds. If you know the STR world, we want to talk to you.
